bagg theatre is an independent company that at present receives no public funding. We rely on box office income, sponsorship and donations to fund our work.
We combine charitable and commercial objectives in our work.
- We are committed to free performances in schools as part of our work developing young audiences and encouraging the theatre-goers of the future.
- We are committed to forging long-term creative relationships with emerging theatre practitioners (see Artistic Associates) and supporting them in the development of their skills and careers.

- £10 funds tea, coffee, & biscuits for a week of actors’ tea breaks!
- £25 pays for a set of scripts to be reproduced
- £100 funds a rehearsed reading
- £300 hires a rehearsal space for a week
- £500 funds a week of work by an actor in schools
- £1,000 hires a performance venue for a week
- £3,000 funds the set and costume design for a small-scale production
